About Nicky Loch - Next Step Supervisor

I have spent the majority of my 13 years in education working with transition-aged students. Since I returned to teaching in 2009, I have worked with secondary students supporting their goals in the areas of employment, post-secondary education and training, and independent living.

I worked as a Work Coordinator in South Washington County Schools for 4 years prior to going to Mahtomedi Schools to develop and coordinate their Transition program. I am so excited to be back in South Washington County Schools serving as the Administrator of the Next Step Transition Program.

Our school community is made up of amazing staff and students. Together we work and learn through classes, experiences and partnerships. All of our daily work is connected to students' goals and visions for their future. We are a student-centered program and are driven by the outcomes that students have for themselves.
